This is our second visit to this hotel. Guests praise the location. It was fairly noisy on the main street outside overnight with windows open. We also ate in the on site restaurant having the mini burger platter. I expected hotel to be more plush. Fish and chips bring one of the dishes. ChantelT80, Manager at The Yorkshire Hotel, responded to this review Dear David, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of The Yorkshire! I know it's Yorkshire but we do occasionally have warm nights and are now in the 21st century where modern big hotels should have these in the rooms. Dear jamesfredericke Thank you for your lovely review. Best wishes from all of us at The Yorkshire! Train station is only a few minutes walk. Lovely room Friendly staff and great bar/restaurant area. Beautiful Hotel ,nicely decorated, room was perfect, brilliant house keeping team ,room was spotless, lovely friendly staff, food was very good will definitely be staying at The Yorkshire again, the next time I visit Harrogate. Flat-screen TVs, coffee/tea makers, … Excellent location with close proximity to the shops, bars and restaurants. ChantelT80, Manager at The Yorkshire Hotel, responded to this review Dear GemZ77 Many thanks for your lovely review! Clemence Roux, Guest Services / Front Office at The Yorkshire Hotel, responded to this review Dear JohnUK, Thank you so much for your lovely review! WiFi is free, and this hotel also features a restaurant and a bar. First we had the choice of fruit, yoghurt or a croissant, followed by a full English or bacon sandwich. The Dower House Hotel & Spa is a 3 star hotel located in Knaresborough, a member of the Best Western Hotel brand and is perfect for a short break or a long weekend. What did find strange with a hotel of this standing, restaurant staff wore normal clothing such a denim jeans. Good hot breakfast buffet and a bar and restaurant on site. Hotel clean, friendly staff and beautiful furnished throughout We enjoyed the 2for1 on the cocktails in the elegant bar in the hotel. Bathrooms include a shower with a rainfall showerhead, and complimentary toiletries. I am so pleased that you found the hotel looking and well kept. If in Harrogate we would stay again. Thank all the staff for all their hard work, and help in difficult circumstances. One small drawback , the large capacity elevator was out of service on a couple of occasions, the other lift was only big enough for two people and there are 5 floors !! All come with plush linen, a flat-screen television and free Wi-Fi, while many boast a town or park view. Cons: parking is a bit inconvenient when the hotel car park is full and the app in the multi-storey doesn't work. Best wishes from all of us at The Yorkshire! Thankyou everyone. We will definitely be coming back when the little one is bigger. ChantelT80, Manager at The Yorkshire Hotel, responded to this review Dear THinchcfliffe, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. The breakfast is ok, tea/coffee is brought to your table. Fantastic location. Very nice stay at The Yorkshire. Our large twin room (no 8) was well equipped in the main, though missing some obvious features such as coat hooks on the doors and the small towel rail, couldn't accommodate two sets of towels. Nice hotel in a beautiful old building in the centre of Harrogate. Best wishes, Yorkshire Team, joe6362, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, Hello Joe6362 Thank you for your lovely review - we are so happy to see you enjoyed your stay with us in these strange times! Thank you to all the amazing staff see you soon ! Friendly. Room was a nice size, modern decorated in grey. Very informative check-in. Handy for shopping/restaurants and great to be able to park at the front overnight. Front desk could have used one other staff member but other than that the stay was perfect.
